Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about minting Drawings, wallets, and the platform
Cardoons is a drawings minting platform on the Cardano blockchain that allows you to create, mint, and manage your digital art with ease.
Simply connect your Cardano wallet, upload a photo of your child's drawing, and mint it. The platform handles all the technical aspects, making it accessible to everyone.
We support image formats including JPG and PNG. Maximum file size is 10MB.
The minting cost includes a 2 ADA Cardoons service fee plus the standard Cardano network transaction fee (~0.17 ADA). If you add an ADA gift for your child's wallet, that amount is added on top.
We support Eternl, Lace, Vesper, and Begin wallets. Make sure your wallet is properly installed and unlocked before connecting.
Yes! We never store your private keys or seed phrases. All wallet interactions are handled securely through your browser extension, and you maintain full control of your assets at all times.
IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) is a decentralized storage system where your Drawing's metadata and image are stored. This ensures your Drawings are permanent and accessible even if the platform goes offline.
Once a Drawing is minted on the blockchain, its core metadata cannot be changed. However, you can transfer, sell, or burn your Drawing as you see fit.
Transaction failures usually occur due to insufficient funds, wallet connection issues, or network congestion. Make sure you have enough ADA for transaction fees, check your wallet connection, and try again. If issues persist, contact our support.
Drawings can take a few minutes to appear in your wallet after minting. Refresh your wallet and check the transaction on a Cardano blockchain explorer. If it's confirmed but not visible, your wallet may need to sync.
